The fireworks will be a good test. [ Slightly giddy about the idea of watching them with Wukong but hell if he's showing it, even if this wasn't a text exchange. ]
I thought it might make it less uncomfortable if you could just choose to leave the box or not without making it a whole thing. And food is generally less charged.
If it helps, I know any and all surprises for you should be lowkey at most. No big surprise parties or anything.
Art studio. I had to repair the room Wukong wrecked the outer wall for and I realized I could just make it a large window for natural lighting, and went on from there. I just had to make sure I was doing work there only when he was spending the night at Wukong's.

I hope so. I've only seen him sketching and using those crayons, so I don't know if he would be really interested in a bigger set up.
But I figure having more of his own designated space is good too. [He's nervous about the gift, it's the first really big one for MK.]
