"He definitely is." Macaque is too cool to be a dork.

"I dunno, do you want a song? You're a huge part of my life. If you want a solo, I'm sure that we could work something in. Our kids are definitely going to sing unless they don't want to, and you're my family too."

"You both are~" MK is gonna be an adorkable brat right now. No one is too cool to be a dork, dork.

"I mean, I am working on my singing for my performance. That would be cool. I'm okay sharing a song if it works. Whatever works best for the wedding. Solo or group number. You know I can do boyband style singing."

"If you say so." He'll never think he's a dork, silly thing.

"Let me ask around and see who's okay being part of it, and then Lucifer and I can write the songs. I also have to make sure that Wukong is okay with being included in the backstory."

"I do. You sexy cool dork," he nuzzles noses with Macaque. Because he is complex and all of those things.

"Sounds like a good plan all around. He's good at writing so maybe you two and work on the backstory part for you together?"

"Love you too, you cheeky monkey." Nose nuzzles are the best.

"Mm, maybe. I want him to feel included and all. And he is annoyingly good at everything."

Nose nuzzles are indeed the best.

"He really is. His plan making needs some work but he's getting better at that too. So this will help him improve on that too. And you can teach him how to hone his skills there."

"He's always been able to get by on brute force and charm. Sometimes that's not quite enough."

Macaque has a somewhat dreamy look on his face.

"There's no way to tell my story without telling his, so hopefully he'll be fine with it. Hopefully he'll be fine with the whole concept in general. I'm a little nervous to tell him, truthfully."

"He does like to swing his big tail around," MK says with an equally dreamy expression.

"I mean, as long as you won't make him perform? I think he'll really like it. His stage fright and all."

"--Right, the stage fright. No, I'm definitely not going to force it."

"It's a little funny, I suggested doing a musical for a wedding in part because it's the only way I'd feel comfortable being that vulnerable in front of people. So I get it."

"It kinda is. The moon and shadow feels comfortable under the limelight and the sun and hero is afraid of it," MK chuckles.

"Ironic, right? I think that's ironic. And hey. He can be in the front row so you can see him and how happy he is for you two."

"I'm only comfortable under it when there's a performance to consider. Lucifer asked if I wanted a public proposal and I couldn't say no quickly enough."

"I'd want all my significant others in the front row, if they're not in the show somehow. Hopefully no one finds it weird that I'd bring dates to my wedding."

"Still kinda ironic," MK nods.

"I mean I wouldn't think so. Whenever I'm ready for that talk, Red Son and I would be bringing dates and the same date," MK nods.

"I hope you mean me as the same date, or else I've missed something big. Last I heard, Red wasn't seeing anyone else other than that vampire." There's a definite tone when he refers to Saya.

MK gives another nose nuzzle for that.

"Of course I mean you, my Warrior."

"And should I look out for such a wedding anytime soon?" he teases.

"Ooooh no. No no no. I am not ready for that. A-And I know he would want his parents there. And I think him and Saya want to get married first which is totally okay so...yeah," MK is blushing and flailing the entire time he's talking.

Macaque chuckles.

"Relax, I'm teasing. Though I think you're wrong about him wanting to marry that vampire trash first. He courtnapped you first, didn't he? And he didn't even bother to do the same to her."

"You tease too good," Mk says back with a slight pout. He boops Macaque's nose.

"Hey. He was wanting to court her first. And she's hella hard to courtnap so that's probably why. But he gave her his family crest first and...I mean Daddy DBK and Princess Iron Fan are gonna approve of him marrying her way before they approve of me marrying Red Son."

"I know." He doesn't look the slightest bit abashed.

"Someone's in denial about the pecking order. She's a new fling compared to you. I feel confident in my assessment. Why else would you be calling him Daddy DBK, which is utterly weird if not for the potential for being his son-in-law?"

"I mean, I was calling him daddy sometimes back home. Daddy DBK sir and stuff. Red Son gets all irritated about and I kinda think he's really pretty when he's irritated." Such a cheeky monkey thing to say.

"I am okay if he wants to marry her first. She's way more ready for it than I am. Marriage...comes with like all this added stuff I'm not ready to think about right now."

"He's pretty lots of times, you don't need to irritate him for that." Admittedly he's a little defensive on Red's behalf here, but if someone was doing shit just to get him irritated on purpose, he'd be pissed. Maybe the pattern under which those two got to know each other would be worth breaking.

"What added stuff does marriage come with? You're already committed to each other."

Says the monkey that's probably about to get engaged.

"Well yeah. I know he is. Red Son is always handsome and pretty but when he's irritated and yelling Noodle Boi he gets this sparkle in his eye. He likes it when I bully him sometimes. He does the same back, it's fun."

"I mean, we are. We're mates. But marriage feels like more. Like his family becomes mine and mine his. But also...things like kids. Being parents. And I'm super not ready to be a parent. I can be a pet parent. That's different and way easier. But like a parent parent? That isn't for me right now."

"I guess if he's okay with it." It's their relationship, Macaque isn't going to meddle too much. And maybe he's a hint sensitive because his fight with Wukong went so terribly. And his fight with MK too.

"I know how you feel a little bit. I don't think I'd be a very good parent to little babies. Teenagers are different."

"He says he is. He'd tell me if he wasn't," MK may be asking Red Son about this later. Just to be safe.

"I mean, the monkeys all love you. And they're kinda like toddlers sometimes. Parent is hard but you'd make a good babysitter."
