Lucifer stops the moment those hands grab his wrists. He nods at the silent instructions. His eyes do dart from the shadows to the hair as a silent question on if shadows could hold back the hair. But his hand rubs the spot designated as safe.
"Your back? Alright. For the shirt, Macaque? Can you use shadows to remove it so we don't cause any further overstimulation?"
Macaque shrugs at the suggestion of shadows in his hair, he might freak if he's not ready for it. Better to just use them to get his hair clear of gunk when he's ready.
"No problem." He makes some deep shadows to cover up their body as much as possible (he might think modesty is dumb but at least Choco doesn't) and uses more shadows to get the shirt pulled up in the back. He assumes that they'll see what they're looking for fairly quickly.
[ Yuzuki shudders in unspoken yet emphatic agreement when Lucifer brings up overstimulation. He couldn't give less of a fuck about modesty for his own sake (for Choco's is another matter), but. Better to tread lightly around anything that might give him yet more reason to want to tear their skin off. ]
[ The grotesque tapestry of scarring covering their back is nothing new to Macaque. They're far more scar than skin at this point — there's everything from the straight lines from the Humane Society surgeries, to messy wounds from tooth and claw. Stabs and slashes, gunshots and glass, odd winding patterns like vines, burns ... the list goes on. And on. And on. ]
[ But there's something else. Something new. A ... rash? A band of inflammation and faint clusters of tiny bumps creeping up along their spine, starting from the base of their tail. It looks like Choco has been trying to scratch at it. ]
Modesty is important for those whom it is important for. Security in boundaries is something Lucifer is understanding more thanks to Ellipsa. That's why he asked Macaque since he would know Choco's boundaries far better than he does. His eyes watch the exposed skin and there are so many scars. Rough tissue outlining the wounds and pain suffered in the past. The skin has a different shade to it, making it stands out against the rare and unmarked flesh.
Lucifer resists touching any of it. Though he wants to hug Yuzuki so badly right now, he restrains himself. Instead he focuses on the rash. He leans in close but doesn't touch. It looks irritated and as though there is an allergic reaction?
"I could try to use Spring magic to heal it. Not sure it would make it go away but it might help the itching? Would you like me to try?"
Macaque shows no emotion as he looks over the scars, it's not anything new although it makes him slightly crazy every time. And this time it causes another reaction, and he has to fight down a new side of him that wants to have a wholly unproductive response.
[ Healing magic? Yuzuki hesitates — just long enough for Macaque to ask his question. ]
Huh? Molting? But we already … [ He trails off, thinking about it. Making himself think about it, about how it feels, and he practically cringes, shivering, clenching his hands against the urge to scratch. ]

Lucifer does a quick doubletake from Yuzuki to Macaque and back. Wait. Molting and Asmodeus? He blinks and shakes his head.

"It might be close-ish to the same version. Choco's time in hell and all that." Macaque says this almost absently. Someone has been studying biblical bullshit and not for spiritual enlightenment.
"I can grab some anti-itch cream if you want. But it'll probably be like that until they sprout fully."

Lucifer smiles and makes such a happy little squeak at the name Toucifer again. Oh it is so cute. He loves it, of the bright red eyes he has now are any indication.
"I can definitely do that. Here," Lucifer will make sure to not actually touch but to focus his healing. He can do the scrapes and scratches. Nothing more serious still but he can at least make all the small things go away.
"The sins have mascots?" Sure, why not? He's not so sure about getting along, he's not that full of lust, is he? Lucifer may have a warped impression because Macaque is so into him.

Macaque opens a portal and roots around in it, looking for numbing cream and finding it on a store shelf. He snags it and starts unwrapping the safety packaging.

Macaque uses his fingertips to put the numbing cream on the sprouting feathers. He knows what a big deal it is to be asked to touch their back, which is why he warned Yuzuki when it was coming.

Lucifer will pull back from the teasing, for now. Familial bullying is a tradition in some families and this one is clearly one such family. Still, he will show mercy. And Ozzie isn't all lust, all the time. He's fun. If he ever shows up, he will gladly introduce Macaque's children to him. Sorry, love. Extended family rules and all that.
"Would it also help if I put pressure somewhere? Rubbing an arm or hand on your shoulder? Head pats?" Lucifer offers as the scratches and bruising heal away with the warmth of his Spring magic.
Macaque will grumble in the background if that eventuality should ever come to pass. Not because he objects to his kids being sexual, he would love to see them with their own kids, it's more having to watch it himself that's a little weird. Probably for them more than him.
"Pressure it is." He uses his whole palm to spread the cream over the affected area.
[ Yuzuki lets out a quiet breath, relaxing just a little more. A little … a little more. Macaque will be able to hear the tension leaking away drip by drop; the feathers drooping from their tight bristle; the way he can take a full, deep breath. He's settled enough that he doesn't flinch or fuss or bare his teeth at all while Macaque works. ]
