I've seen you wield a frying pan and a mop to great effect, I'm not surprised you'd be adept with a shovel.

frying pans are a FAVE

but yeah shovels are fun to swing!! it's the weight i think. super satisfying! (p≧w≦q) playing around with one is what got me thinking about scythes

(can i use shadows to make blades eventually?? because turning my staff into a scythe via shadow magic sounds SO cool)

Sure can. That's how my staff works.

Scythes are complicated because of the balance, but I have faith in you. And it'll be fun to train with.
