There are two voids to fill and six memories/emotions to choose from:

- not wanting to feel or be alone
- rejection for being different
- feelings of failure and as if you can't measure up
- grief and devastation
- burying yourself for others and the slippery slope that can lead to
- doing the unthinkable to prevent something worse

Our instincts are to go for the first (not wanting to feel or be alone) and the last (doing the unthinkable to prevent something worse). Does that sound right to you?
