Lobby
There's a flash of deep purple light just as your eyes close, and you wake up on the ground.
You have all the items you had on you when the spell was cast, and your abilities seem to be working. They may not work correctly in all places, however. Things go awry in heart games. The one exception is that neither Wukong nor MK have their staff.
You're in what appears to be a hotel lobby if one stuck it in the middle of a jungle. The night sky is starless and a bright full moon watches over you. Instead of walls, thick trees surround the lobby space, though the tree canopy isn't too thick to allow the moon's light to shine through. You can hear all sorts of animal life: cicadas, frogs gently singing, the chirp of insects... and monkeys. Every now and then there's a rustle in the trees and a faceless monkey made of pure shadows will peek out at you, curious little buggers that they are.
As expected, there are shadows here. You feel watched over, safe, comforted. No matter which way you face, your shadow is always in front of you.
On the North end of the area, there is an elevator, closed at present. Between you and that there are six desks set up, each with wood that is an inky purple which appears to be natural wood rather than a stain, and each with a symbol hovering over it:
On each desk there is a scattering of random objects. There is also a single drawer.
To the West, an alcove marked "Supplies". To the East and South, only lush flora and fauna. There is a single light blue crack in the ground near the treeline to the East, easily avoided. It vanishes off into the trees.
There are no buttons beside the elevator to call it. Instead, hovering beside it where a wall would be are six -- voids? They're a colorless grey, wavering, spots of unstable, flickering nothingness. Above each one is a symbol corresponding to the ones on the desks.
Every now and then there's a little boom and the place trembles a little, like a miniature bomb hit the "room". You see nothing in the night sky, no visual indications of anything, just now and then a rumble and a small tremor.
Re: Lobby
MK took in the odd jungle lobby they found themselves in. His eyes were drawn to the desks. Like school. Though as he approached the light blue crack caught his eyes. He stared at it for a moment. It wasn't moving and it was over there. Okay. No danger. No ice. Just Epsilon.
"...Still hate that color blue," MK mumbled as he moved to the desk with the bandana over it. He looked at the items and tried to check the drawer.
"Alright, Macaque. What did you leave me?"

Re: Lobby
[ Korone's quick to get to her feet, patting first her pockets, then her hammerspace hip bag. Items, check. Weapons, check. Pendant, check. Whew. The occasional rumbles and tremors are… less whew, but they're not unexpected.
She looks around, taking stock of her surroundings and Macaque's troop of loved ones. Then she makes her way over to examine the pigeon desk. ]
Not gonna lie, the déjà vu is real.

[There is the connection, the tethers between them, but]
[Its small enough. He's still him.]
[Good.]
[He adjusts his jacket over the cat hoody because he's aware of his chances against any violent parts of macaque and it was better to have the safety.]
[Then he'll move over to the desk with his symbol on it.]

Re: Lobby
[So he absolutely came with the Power Armor. (And shoved a kitty hoody into Korone's arms.) Maybe he would be denied the power armor, but frankly, he would take the chance of having it, especially with the danger vibes around Macaque.]
[Its a nice surprise it worked.]
[...]
[There is a few seconds of just STARING at the blue, before he snaps his head to the desks.]
[...its probably the knives.]
[He'll go to the knife desk.]

Re: Lobby
Wukong strode over to the monkey desk and looked around, actively taking in the details of this lobby. It's ideal for a guy like Macaque, and funnily enough for him as well. He shot one of the shadow monkeys a cheeky grin, ignoring the feeling of not having his staff again. He'd been without it back home, it was fine. Especially because this wasn't about fighting.
"Alright, let's get this party started," he said, grinning up at the moon. "The decor's great, Macaque, but let's see what I'm working with." Then he turned his attention fully to the desk.

Inventory
[ For stuff from the supply closet you can feel free to retroactively say what's with you with no need to be that specific as long as it fits the general criteria of what's available, but if you want to list what you swiped from there you totally can! Elevator
On the keypad you will see the following:
Level C
And then there is a large round "key"hole where you're clearly meant to fill in order to proceed any lower than Level C.
After C is:
Level S
Level S1
Level U
And then another keyhole, this one more traditional. And finally:
Level FE

Level C
A mountainside, technically. Although it's basically a tiny hill right now, and it really looks much more like a construction site. Atop said hill stands the Monkey King's staff, upright in the grass. Presumably, beneath it is sealed the Demon Bull King, or at least that was the case once upon a time.
Laying on the ground in front of the hill is Red Son's gauntlet.
There is sunlight streaming in from above, although oddly there don't appear to be any shadows here. Notably, your hearing seems to be more sensitive in this space, like a much lesser version of Macaque's. You can hear the silence stretching in all directions, but for the breathing and heartbeats of the assembled party. Everything is still, in a way that feels unnatural.
Nothing else appears to be happening. It's the staff, and the site, and the gauntlet. A glance at the staff will show anyone that it's probably what goes in the "key"hole that will allow you to access the lower levels. Could it really be so simple?
Sure, normally moving the Monkey King's staff is a whole big deal, but a full third of the assembled can just pick it up, and the gauntlet will allow anyone else to do the same. So it seems like the only question is, who's going to pull the sword from the stone?
Re: Level C
He peeked out of the elevator and looked around. He put his hand over his eyes to shield them from the sun above.
"Okay," He said with a whisper. "This feels like a trap," MK stepped out of the elevator anyway.

Level S (sub 1)
However, on this level the doors are in poor condition. They are rotting in places, though not enough to see through them, they are warped, the knobs are tarnished.
And there are glowing blue cracks all over the ceiling and crawling down some of the walls. Everything looks stable, but it's unnerving to say the least.
Nothing to worry about, clearly.

Level U
The hallway itself is halfway encased in ice, which concentrates mostly around the West “door”. The blue cracks also veer off in that direction, as if something is calling them or guiding them in that direction, although there are also cracks near the other “doors”, not just as many.

Level FE - OOC Info
Goal: Macaque's "mental block" will be taking the form of a Wukong made of Macaque's blood (rather than ink, get it) aka Bloodkong. During the fight the blood will separate into smaller pieces and take on different personas (BloodMK, Bloodrone, Blood Son, what have you). Everyone has to convince it to stand down and let Macaque love freely again. You won't be able to hurt it physically -- though it can definitely hurt you -- but your words are what will do the work of beating it. Psychic damage, bitch! It'll be doing its best to return the psychic damage by saying caustic shit that you have to counter.
You have some items to help you, the ones with golden monkeys on them. Korone and Donnie have ICly told everyone to equip and use them.
ITEMS:
Korone - ICly knows how her items work
+ Face mask that makes her invisible to the enemy(s)
+ Ring that shines more brightly when words are effectively convincing
Donnie - ICly knows how the cloak works
+ cloak that blocks attacks
+ lenses for goggles that show when a piece of Bloodkong is getting ready to attack and/or what's working against it,basically maths its way to cheating in whatever ways you can figure out
MK: - does not ICly know exact purpose of items but it's pretty clear
+ shield for blocking attacks, physical and emotional
+ dagger to split the Bloodkong into smaller pieces, which lessens the damage of attacks (and also makes a piecemeal fight possible)
Red Son: - does not ICly know purpose of items yet but it's fairly clear
+ Lantern that will capture Bloodkong's shadow and hold it for 1d3 turns + stops it from speaking (usually this would have three uses but we're going to be fast and loose and use it when convenient)
+ Wristband that lets him match Wukong/MK/Bloodkong's speedto dodge
Wash: - does not ICly know purpose of items yet but it's reasonably obvious
+ Grenade that creates a cage around Bloodkong for 1d3 turns (usually would have three uses but we'll just use when/where convenient)
+ Rope that grapples Bloodkong for 1d3 turns (same with we'll use when convenient)
Wukong: - does not ICly have items yet but use is fairly clear
+ Macaque's staff for defense against Bloodkong
+ Golden crown
yes I know I'm awfulwhich projects feelings into words without Wukong having to find/say themLevel FE - IC
Macaque is sitting on the side of Mount Wuxing, the Mountain of Five Elements. He looks over, his face numb and bleary.
"I can't hear him anymore," this unfeeling version of Macaque says to you, and then he pitches forward, blood pouring out his nose and ears and his blind eye, much like the lead-up to his heart game.
Before anyone can get to him, the blood starts morphing in shape, rising up from its puddle to create a blood version of Wukong.
Stay away from him, this twisted version of Wukong demands, he's happier this way.
This, it would seem, is the block on Macaque's feelings.
