Korone closes her eyes. Breathes in. Four. Holds. Four. Breathes out. Four. She gently lets go of his hand and pulls herself back up to her feet, scrubbing her cheek with her sleeve to clear away some of the splashes of blood that sprayed on her. ]

Wash wraps an arm around her shoulders.

"We should get to the elevator," he said, voice flat, but with a tinge of care.

[ She wraps an arm around his waist. Best she can when he's a brickhouse and wearing armor, at least. ]

We need to figure out which memory to use for the new hole.

[ One step after the other. The sound of her teacher's ... her dad's screams echo in her ears, as they no doubt will for a long, long, long time to come. But she can keep moving. This isn't the first time she's seen death, and it won't be the last. ]

"There's a chance the blade might come up again when its filled," he said, leading her to the elevator. Keeps his arm around her.

"Yeah. I don't know if ALL the holes are gonna have his mark, but I figure we'll find that out with the next level. If its all Wukong, then any of ours work, but if they're specific people, we should try to match," he said. "It'd make sense if they were all his, but also hearts."

[ Ha, ha. There's a breath that might have been a laugh, if you squint. ]

"Probably. Let's try any experimenting with mine if we can," Wash said. "I have the least to lose in this race."

[ Not a thought she relishes even if she can see the point in it! She makes a face but doesn't argue. ]

Hm. Chances of the whole group sticking together the whole time?

"Considering the whole set the world on fire threat if he maintains the spell for too long and how well he's not handling this first room?" He glances at Red Son, who is Having A Time. "The faster we can go, probably the better. Maybe do teams of two?"

He nods. "I think so, yeah. Red Son said he needed MK for grounding, you and Donnie have a very versatile skillset, and Wukong needs heart game experience," he said and lowers his voice. "Also he's got the protective vibe about him, and it might be less with me. Hard to say between perceived youth versus being on the weaker scale and wow, who are we hanging out with that I'm saying that?"

[ ... Snorts, hip-checking him. With her WC abilities active, he'll actually feel it, too. ]

You get used to it eventually. Kinda.

Donnie n' me are sturdier than most kids, physically and emotionally, but we're still kids. I think we'd be more of a distraction than he needs.

Honestly, I'm getting some Tucker vibes from how he's acting.
