When you step out of the elevator, a sharp thing flies out of one end of the space and zips across the area directly in front of you. Thanks to your being able to hear it coming and your ridiculous reflexes, you manage to move out of the way.

All you can tell about the thing is that it appears to be a small, sharp object.

The shard vanishes in the "floor" of the area, tearing another void into it as it vanishes into a deeper part of Macaque's soul.

"AH!" MK dodged thank goodness and froze. He looked at the tear in the ground and gasped. Oh no. That was NOT good.

MK looked around, trying to see anything that might have caused that. Did he trigger a trap?! Did someone throw it at him? What the hey?!
