Macaque had been snuggled up with Lucifer when he feels the shadows stirring, hears Choco's heartbeat growing wild, and then there's a shadow reaching for him and yelping.
He sits up as quickly as he can without hurting Lucifer.
"--What is it? I'm right here." Regardless of his previous reaction to Yuzuki, he reaches out for him immediately.
